UtiMono is the artist name of John Monokandilos. He was born and raised in Greece and has been involved in the music scene through more than 13 years. He djed while he was in his teen years. In his early 20s he has been “underground” evolving his music composing and mastering skills. John made it into a CD compilation release in 2004 with two tracks under the artist name “u.t.i.”. The compilation is called “Alter Ego” and was released through Harmonic Distortion Records. In 2005, his remix of “Atomic Reborn 2005” was featured as vinyl release as well as a digital one though “eNoise Records”. Also in the conclusion of 2005 he presented his remix of “Quantum Limit – The Remixes 2005” which is an original great work by Alex Silvi, as well as his original digital debut named “Warning” and “E.D.S.” included in the EPs named “Digital Mission Vol.1” by eNoise Records. In the rise of 2006, “Another Down” was presented to the digital world via “Digital Mission Vol.3”, with great success. His composing style differs from project to project, but keeps it within Progressive Trance and Dark Progressive House.
